Britney to wed again?

Rumors are now circulating that two time divorcee Britney Spears is determined to marry her latest agent Jason Trawick. In addition to wearing a sparking new ring on her wedding finger, an insider has told Life & Style Magazine that Britney is intent on marrying her current beau;

"Britney told (dad) Jamie and (mom) Lynne she wants to marry Jason. They weren’t shocked, but they’re worried Britney is confusing close friendship with romance."

Despite their trepidations, Britney's mother has approves of Trawick's suitability as a husband according to friends. In a recent issue of US Weekly, a family friend says that Lynne thinks Trawick's "the kind of man you would dream of your daughter marrying,"

Many credit Trawick for helping Britney through the rough patch in her career that most of us will remember for moments of excess, depravity and madness. That poor girl went from exposing herself to making cough syrup cocktails and undergoing involuntary commitment to a mental health facility. If Trawick really did save her from that mess, I can't imagine anyone better that she could spend her life with.

Trawick is no stranger to high profile celebrity clients. An agent with the William Morris Agency, Trawick also represents both Hilary and Haylie Duff and Paris Hilton. This is, to the best of our knowledge, the first time one of his clients has been insistent on marrying him.

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green Still Engaged, But...

It was widely reported that Transformers star Megan Fox and ex-90210 hunk Brian Austin Green had called off their engagement and broken up. As it turns out, the couple are still very much together, but in counseling. I don't know about you, but if you're in counseling before you get married...but I digress. I guess some kudos should be thrown their way for not giving up on love so easily.

Will John Mayer Get Jennifer Aniston A Ring For Her 40th Birthday?

So Jennifer Aniston will soon turn the big 4-0 on February 11th, and she wants a big party and she'll cry if she wants to.

"Everyone’s been asking me if I worry about being nearly 40, but no, not really. These days I’m a lot more serene and I’m ready to embrace a new decade"

Actually, this is one of the weirdest engagement rumor trails we've ever seen. Usually we get rumors that a couple 'may' get engaged soon, or we get rumors that a couple 'may' be breaking up soon. But rarely, if ever, do we get rumors of both a break-up and engagement at the same time.

John Mayer seems to think he'll be pretty good at proposing...

"I think I'd be pretty good at proposing. I'd figure that out. I'd get creative"

Now comes word that a custom-designed engagement ring is on order and could very well be Aniston's birthday gift from Mayer...

"He didn’t want to buy something that anyone else had, so he sketched it and is having it custom-made."

All of this sounds quite peachy. But this is where things take a weird turn. There are swirling rumors that instead of an engagement ring, the on and off couple since last May are about to break up.

Well, it's no shock to learn that Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have called it quits for a second time. Apparently, Jennifer Aniston's lack of enthusiasm for their union is what led to John Mayer's decision to take the exit. That's right, this time it seems that John Mayer is the one that walked away.

I don't know about you, but my head is spinning. So which is it? Are John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston headed to the alter, or splitsville?

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen Engaged

This was one of the worst-kept engagement secrets of all time. After weeks of speculation Tom Brady apparently proposed to Gisele Bundchen on Friday in Los Angeles and the happy couple are now planning a Spring wedding. Will Leonardo DiCaprio and Bridget Moynahan be invited? We wouldn't hold our breath. Of course, the wedding would have to be in March or April at the latest given the fact that Tom Brady is hoping to have his knee fully rehabbed and healthy in time for the New England Patriots training camp.

Tom and Gisele also recently bought an $11 million mansion in Brentwood, California. Has Tom done this before? There are rumors that Tom was actually engaged to Bridget Moynahan before hooking up with Gisele, but those rumors have never been confirmed. Tom Brady does have a child with Bridget, John Edward Thomas Moynhan, so that leads us to our big poll question. Will Gisele get pregnant soon and give young John Edward a playmate?

Drew Peterson Engaged To Christina Raines? Seriously?

File this one under the 'sad but true' heading, but Drew Peterson has proposed to another 23-year old woman while his current wife Stacy Peterson is still missing. The former Chicago Police sergeant is now headed to the alter for the fifth time despite being a known suspect in his current wife's disappearance. Yikes. Who would sign up for what can only be described as a dangerous engagement?

While nobody is 100% sure just yet, it is believed that Illinois resident Christina Raines may be 'the one' err, 'the 5th'. Her family doesn't seem too pleased with her choice of a man, and while there has been no confirmation it is indeed Christina, her ex-boyfriend seems to think it is...

"I didn't think it was true," said Yauk, 26, the father of her two children, ages 4 and 5. "But I just got done talking to her face to face and I think it's true."

The ex always knows the scoop! Good luck to Christina, I hope she doesn't need it.

Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance to be a Daddy

We haven't heard much from My Chemical Romance lately, and this may be why.

Lead singer Gerard Way is going to be a daddy soon, as his wife, Mindless Self Indulgence's Lindsey, is pregnant.

The baby is due summer 2009, and congrats goes out to the happy couple.

Heidi and Spencer Get Eloped

I think we all saw it coming, but it was still somewhat of a surprise when news leaked that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, one of our favorite couples from The Hills got eloped on November 20th.

They had the low key celebration just outside of Cabo San Lucas, at the One & Only Palmilla Resort.

The ceremony itself lasted a mere 15 minutes and there were no friends or family there. Heidi and Spencer report that this is because they did not plan the wedding and that it happened on a whim, but we're pretty sure it's because there are few to no people left who are actually speaking to them.

Either way, congratulations to the couple and good luck with the marriage.
