I’ll admit it. I’m a late bloomer. I wasn’t interested in Grey’s Anatomy until I heard everyone -- EVERYONE -- raving about how fabulous it was. That meant that I had two full seasons to catch up on while the third was already being aired. I’m on season 2, episode 3 now. A long way to go.

Interesting. I didn’t even start what I wanted to tell you before I digressed. I digressed before I even began. I’m such an overachiever.

Katherine Heigl is engaged to musician Josh Kelley, according to People magazine.

That’s what I wanted to tell you. Katherine Heigl plays Izzie on the show. Josh Kelley is a musician; his third album is coming out next month.

The gift I’m giving them: An extended honeymoon. Like for a year. So that Grey’s Anatomy will go on a hiatus. So I can catch up. [See how I brought that full circle to the initial digression? The gift wouldn’t have made sense if I hadn’t digressed. Just sayin’…]
