I didn’t report on her engagement, but now, sadly, I report on her unengagement. Unengagement? Disengagement? Whatever, they broke up.

I guess Nic didn’t want to be a Desperate Housewife (she stars as Edie Britt on Desperate Housewives).

[Nicollette] and Swedish actor Niklas Soderblom have called off their engagement, People magazine reported Wednesday. The couple "have parted ways after a year and a half," Sheridan's publicist, Nicole Perna, said in a statement.

Parted ways? Hmmm, I’m sensing some good gossip and they give us “parted way?” Pshaw! My hypothesis: Nik is annoyed that Nic keeps baring her nipples. Here. And here. But we’ll never know.
