This is a pretty neat way to share pictures. No uploading required. No attachments that blow up your PC.
When you use Hello, you get to see your photographs together with your friends online. You don’t have to wait for huge email attachments to download or upload your pictures to a public website. Just point at a picture and you can tell the person who sent it exactly what you think. With just one click, you can get the original high-quality, full-sized file to print. You’ve got a firewall? Not a problem with Hello. Want to see what picture your friend is looking at right NOW? You can do that with Hello. It’s just like hovering over them while they’re looking at your photo album, so you can make a snarky comment in real-time. Pretty much smacks of Big Brother (from Orwell’s book, not the ab-fab reality TV show) but you know where your OFF button is, don’t you? Or do you? Muhahaha. [Maniacal laughter.]

Remember when you had to go bring in rolls of film to get them developed, and you’d get the photos in a few weeks? Then remember when you could pick them up within the day? And then within the hour? Ah, the olden days.
Now we’re digital. But now digital seems to take too long too -- like when you’re standing in front of the microwave screaming ‘What do you mean 3 minutes to make dinner?!?!’ forgetting that a conventional oven would take 50 minutes. Now, even with digital, it’s become a pain to download or upload (I never remember which means what) the pics to the PC, then find the fancy-shmancy paper, yada yada yada.
The KODAK EASYSHARE Printer Docks are the simplest way to get real Kodak prints right from your digital camera. Just dock your KODAK EASYSHARE Digital Camera, press the button, and in as little as 60 seconds, you'll have a beautiful borderless 4"X6" (10X15 cm) print that will last a lifetime. For as little as $149.95 - $199.95 USD (Kodak’s Canadian page didn’t list the prices), you can print your pictures at the press of a button. After a few times, we’ll be complaining that 60 seconds is too long to wait, but until then it’s a sweet deal. And for your wedding, give your camera to a friend to snap some shots, and you can have them printed well before you even hear from your professional photographer to look at his proofs.

I recently told you how to find a videographer. Possibly even more important than the video is the photo album. You and your guy are going to have one. Your folks will have one. Your guy’s parents will have one. Those photos are going to live on into infamy; you can burn the video when your hairstyle is beyond passé.
Take your time finding a photographer. Check out your friends’ albums. Make a list of your preferences before you talk to the photographer. For instance, maybe you like more candid shots than posed pics, but the photographer’s portfolio doesn’t display many (or any) of those. Ask him/her if you can keep the proofs, and ask if they’re watermarked (you can’t put those in an album.) And also make sure that you get all your photos on a CD, if that’s something that you’d like, at no charge.
Also make sure that the photographer can make you look 10 pounds thinner. Mine promised 20, so I’m paying him double.

As the bride, you will be the center of attention. Translation: Everyone will want your attention. You’ll end up talking to Aunt Beatrice about her corns for 15 minutes, and miss the best man hula-dancing. Uncle Mortimer will pinch your cheeks for 10 minutes, all the while trying to find a pocket in your dress (as if!) in which to put some cash -- not all bad, but you missed your best friend chatting up your cousin. The point is, while you’re gabbing with everyone, you’ll be missing a lot of your wedding reception. And you’ll be missing ALL of the ceremony until you make your own stroll down the aisle. Solution: Hire a good videographer to get it all on tape so that you and your guy can watch it later on, to see all that you missed. Not only will it be a special keepsake, it will also be hysterical to watch the old folks dancing!
