A Restroom Wedding and A Charmin Ultra Wedding Dress

A gown made out of Charmin Ultra Soft and Ultra Strong Toilet Paper. Hold the ceremony in a public restroom. How about these for a wedding ceremony and wedding dress ideas?

jennifer-cannon-bathroom-wedding.jpg

That's exactly what Jennifer Cannon of Lexington Kentucky did. With friends and family, she and Doy Nichols tied the knot in a public restroom in Time Square NY on December 19th 2007. Jennifer's dress is made out of 7 rolls of toilet paper held together by glue and tapes.

Hey, it's their wedding so GO CHARMIN! :)

No Clooney Villa Wedding for Brad and Angelina????

clooney.jpgWhat the hey?!?!? I was planning to go to the wedding just so that I could hang with George. What is THIS news??

If Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are planning to get married at George Clooney's villa in Italy, it's news to him. "People have said they were going to get married at my house," Clooney told AP Radio in a recent interview. "Well, I would know, and I can tell you there's not going to be a secret wedding."
I guess I’ll go see George anyway. I’ll just return the dress I bought at WalMart for the nuptials. No biggie.

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and George Clooney?

bradangelina2.jpgOh, get your mind out of the threesome gutter. Geez!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are planning to get married at George Clooney's holiday home in Italy, it has been claimed.
Let me tell you this, though: I’m so going to that wedding! If there’s a chance of my meeting George Clooney, I’ll definitely spring for a wedding present for Tattoo Girl and The Pittster. Yahuh!
Brad's friend George Clooney owns a £4 million holiday villa on Lake Como and the Italian media claims that plans are already under way for a wedding there. Clooney reportedly suggested his villa as a venue because of its "secluded and discreet position".
So I guess this is a done deal? Yahoooooey! I’ll just wait until Brad and Angelina pick a date. Then I’ll book my plane ticket. Georgie-boy, I’m coming to visit!

Wedding On Top of Mount Everest

katmandu.jpgHey dude, wanna get high and get hitched? That’s what Moni Mulepati, 24, and Pem Dorjee, 23 did, so maybe all the cool peeps are doing it.

Two Nepalese climbers were on top of the world this week not only because they reached the summit of Mount Everest but because they got married there. There was no procession, champagne or band only piles of snow and a breathtaking panorama for bride Moni Mulepati, 24, and groom Pem Dorjee, 23, as they exchanged their vows at the 8,850-meter (29,035-foot) summit on Monday.
I wonder what my guy would say if I told him that I wanted to climb Mount Everest and get married on the top. Who am I kidding? He wouldn’t even hear the marriage part over his peals of laughter about the climbing. I won’t even go to the kitchen to get a drink if I can get him to do it instead.

Actually, it may be worth the trek, now that I think of it. Like in Banff, I don’t think my hair would frizz on top of a mountain in Nepal. I’m going to speak to my guy. We still have a little over a month to change our plans. And then …honeymoon in Katmandu. Hmmm. I ‘m going to wake him up. Stay tuned.

Update [10 minutes later]: No.

Wedding Venue: In Banff …in a What?!?

banff.jpgWhen I was thinking about where to have my wedding, I thought that if my guy and I could go somewhere remote, just the two of us, it would be perfect. Not meant to be, though. Our families wouldn’t have it; they wanted to be there with us, celebrating our blessed union. Whatever. I was digging my heels in on the “somewhere remote” aspect, I’ll tell you that. After a gazillion hours of research, it seemed that Banff, Alberta was the place, with their “unusual and beautiful wedding venues.”

I couldn’t decide whether it would be a Hoodoo wedding (Hoodoos “are strange formations, some resembling mushrooms, that have a certain mystique about them. They are pillars of limestone that were formed by water and wind erosion over thousands of years, and they provide a unique backdrop for wedding ceremonies”), or at the Bear and Bison: A Canadian Country Inn where, over the last two years, they’ve “hosted over two hundred weddings, many of which have been elopements,” or if we’d go for the exciting “Hummer Wedding.” Mind OUT of the gutter, please! The Hummer (the vehicle, people!) takes you to one of “these remote settings” which “are only accessible by a 4 x 4 Hummer” according to Banff Hummer Backcountry Tours. Perfect, right? Right! [Fast forward one week.] Due to circumstances well out of my control, we’re going to get married near Atlanta. Georgia. In July. I bet my hair wouldn’t frizz in Banff. Oh well. Maybe on our first anniversary, we’ll renew our vows in a Hummer. One can dream…
