Amanda Peet Ready to Marry Now That She’s Pregnant

She’s doing it a little backwards -- if you’re a traditionalist -- but she IS getting married BEFORE the baby arrives. You can never say that Amanda Peet doesn’t do the right thing when her hand is forced.

Amanda Peet and screenwriter David Benioff are expecting a baby and will marry this weekend, the "Studio 60" actress says.

She’s four months pregnant. They’re getting married this weekend. That’s not so bad. The baby won’t feel like he or she pressured her parents TOO much.

I’m just kidding. I happen to like Amanda Peet. So don’t get on my case, OK?
And David wrote the screenplay for one of my favorite books, The Kite Runner, so he’s also OK in my books.

The gift I’m giving them: Since we’re being all non-traditionalist here, I think I’ll wait until they’ve been married a couple of months, before I give them their gift. Heh.
