Elisabeth Shue Has Baby Girl

I had no intention of reporting this story. I mean, really, who cares? Elisabeth Shue hasn’t been in a good movie since 1995 -- Leaving Las Vegas.

So why AM I writing about it? Because of THIS:

Elisabeth Shue and her husband, Davis Guggenheim, welcomed a baby girl, Agnes Charles Guggenheim, on Sunday.

Baby girl. Agnes. Charles. See the problems? And, yes, there are two of them. Obviously it’s bizarre that a girl would have the middle name Charles. But in the year 2006, to saddle this little baby with the old-fashioned spinster name of Agnes is just plain cruel. (Sorry all you Agnes chicks reading this. All one of you.)

The gift I’m giving poor Agnes: This. Here you go, sweetie. Do what you have to do.
