I'm Off To Get Married!!!

OK, faithful readers, I’m off to tie the knot with my guy. We’re leaving for the glorious (?!?) heat and humidity (uuuugggghhhh!) of the southern states, where my guy and I will become husband and wife. Wow, all this work and it’s finally here. We’ve got the clothes, the rings, the flowers, the food, the photographer, and the band… Phew! I think (I hope!) that’s it. The families will be there (except for a few members who will be sadly missed -- you know who you are …and we love you) and a smattering of friends. It’s destined to be a fantabulous day. The bad news is that we’re passing on the honeymoon. For now. It’s been deferred. And for a very good reason. We just bought our first house last week and the closing (and moving!) is at the end of July. Oh yeah, we’re nuts, alright! To buy a home so close to the wedding date is insane, but we LOVE the house and couldn’t risk losing it. So, folks, as much as I hate to say this, I’m going to be too busy to blog at my normal rate for a while. But you understand, right? I mean, I can’t expect my guy to do all the packing, moving, unpacking, coordinating, etc.. Or can I? Nah, we’re a team now. I’ll be in full-force again in August. Until then, I’ll give you what I can. Stay close.
