Jenna Bush Engaged to be Married to Henry Hager

Finally! Something to put George Bush in a positive light. Maybe.

His daughter, Jenna, is engaged and will marry long-time boyfriend Henry Hager.

Jenna, one of the president's twin daughters, became engaged to Hager, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Hager of Richmond, Va., on Wednesday. John Hager is the former Virginia lieutenant governor and current U.S. Education Department assistant secretary.

I’d like to be a fly on the wall watching that father-daughter dance. Or, even better, to hear Georgey-boy mess up another speech, this time on his daughter’s big day. Poor Jenna.

The gift I’m giving Jenna and Henry: A copy of this movie. Play it anytime the father of the bride is talking. Your guests will appreciate it.
