Jennifer Wilbanks’ 15 Minutes of Fame Turns Into 20

Remember Jennifer Wilbanks, the runaway bride? Sheeeee’s baaaaack. Well, of course you know that she went home, but I mean that she’s back in the form of hot sauce and dolls in track suits. Yup, she’s being mass-marketed.

Jennifer's High Tailin' Hot Sauce, a nod to the saga of runaway bride Jennifer Wilbanks, has sold briskly since its debut.

Herobuilders.com, a Danbury, Conn.-based manufacturer, has sold out of its first batch of 250 Runaway Bride action figures at $24.95 US each.

A few questions: (1) Is she getting any of the moolah? (2) Why can’t someone market products based on all the women who DON’T run away from marriage and give us the loot? (3) Why isn’t someone making D. the BloggerChick products and sharing the wealth with yours truly? Just curious.

   I think that people today are always looking for ways to tear someone apart. Nobody knows what they would have done if they had been under the same circumstances as Jennifer. Why is it so hard for people to give her (or others, for that matter) the benefit of the doubt? She has admitted that she needs help. She has admitted that she was wrong. She is undergoing help as you read this. Where have all the Christians gone??? Jesus wouldn't turn her away and neither should we. Unless you know FOR A FACT that she did this deliberately for attention then you have no right to judge her. I hope she gets the help that she needs and that the public will let Jennifer and her fiance get on with their life. Good luck Jennifer and John!
