Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise Cruising To an Earlier Wedding Date

It seems that fathers do know best and Katie’s (oops, I mean KATE’s) father is pissed off that his nice Catholic daughter is pregnant before wedded. I guess he’s figured out that it means that there’s been some prenuptial sex going on, and he’s none too pleased about that.

[Life & Style magazine] reports that the strict Catholic scolded the actress upon learning of her pregnancy, before telling Cruise, "You're no good!" The grandfather-to-be also reportedly demanded that the pair wed soon.

Katie’s aunt quashed the rumor that the actress conceived via in vitro fertilization.

"I can assure you they did it the old fashioned way," Carol Zydorczyk said in a recent magazine interview.

Hey, Auntie Carol, I think you’ve overstepped your boundaries with that statement.
Anyway. So the wedding date has been moved up to this month (rather than the Christmas time wedding that they’d “planned”) at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Cancun, Mexico.

Bottom line: Katie’s dad is hopping mad and Tommy boy has new stuff to be couch-hopping about on Oprah. Something for everyone.
