Katie Holmes Tom Cruise Wedding Update

As much as I’d tried to ignore it, hoping that it would just quiet down, Tom’s gotten loud again. He was mouthing off about how they had “big big wedding plans” (without telling us what they were!) and then he went on and on about how Katie (whom he calls Kate) loves ribbons, flowers, and making cards. Yes, Tom, that’s because she’s a girl. Duh! Read about it here …if you want.

Then there was talk about them getting married on Christmas Day. Ho ho ho! Uhhh….

And now there’s this news: The end of Katie Holmes.

Katie Holmes is to shed her name when she gets married, as she plans to be known as Kate Cruise after the wedding.

I have no problem with her taking his last name. In fact, I think she should. You know, tradition. But this I have a problem with:

Tom calls her Kate, so he suggested she start going by that professionally.

I think that’s just weird. I mean, is SHE happy going by Kate now? The one lingering question, though, is that if she’s going by Kate because Tom calls her Kate, what would have happened if he called her SnuggleBear? Or PookiePie? What then, NoMindOfYourOwnkins?
