Laila Ali Gives Birth to Healthy Baby Boy

Laila Ali has given birth to a healthy baby boy, weighing in at 6.8 lbs., measuring 19 inches long.

Ali and her husband, retired NFL star Curtis Conway, could not be more thrilled, as was announced on her website this past Thursday.

The bouncing baby boy is sure to be an athlete, what with the impressive stats of his proud mama and papa.

The lovely Laila is the latest celebrity to opt for a home birth, and she admits that she was largely influenced by Ricki Lake's filmed delivery, The Business of Being Born.

The new addition, Curtis Muhammad, joins Conway's three sons from previous marriage and is the first child for Ali.
