Nia Vardalos Adopts Baby Girl

It seems as though adopting children is the celebrity "fad" these days.

Nia Vardalos is the latest celeb to hop on this train, adopting a little girl whose name has not yet been released.

She and her husband, Ian Gomez, recently adopted the toddler who is less than 5 years old, and one of their main reasons for doing this, according to a source, was to bring attention to National Adoption Month and the 500,000 children that are presently in foster care.

We look forward to seeing pictures of the little one, and congratulations go out to Vardalos, Gomez, and family.
