Nicollette Sheridan Engagement Over

The engagement between our favorite desperate housewife Nicollette Sheridan and crooner Michael Bolton has ended.

The two are going their separate ways according to PEOPLE, and apparently have done so on a mutual basis.

A rep for the actress told the mag that:

Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have amicably ended their engagement. They appreciate your respect for their privacy in this matter.

This break up comes somewhat as a surprise, as the pair has often been in the news and always seemed so authentically happy together.

This is not the first break up of these two, as they also dated each other starting back in 1992, terminating the relationship after being together for 5 years.

They then resumed their relationship in 2005 and announced their wedding engagement in March 2006.

We will keep our eyes on the couple and hope to hear good news of a possible reunion. Until then we wish both all the best.
