Setting up a new home takes so much time and money, doesn't it? Make it easy on yourself by starting with brilliant Canadian interior designer Brian Gluckstein.

He shares his design expertise with his GLUCKSTEINHOME line at The Bay. It's inspired and really reasonably priced. The line includes bedding, bath, furniture, tableware & entertaining, home decor and patio. Our most-loved Gluckstein designs are spa-like bath towels and drinking glasses.

His pieces may be inspired and really reasonably priced but the quality is so poor that it is not worth the investment. As a result the Bay is discountiuing his line. See for yourself, the big reductions on furniture pieces.

Brian Gluckstein is the most overrated designer in Canada. His style is bland, boring...not creative..Don't waste your money on any of his "creations". The publicity hype machine seems to be in overdrive..but pay no attention. There are lesser known Canadian designers who have much more creativity and style.

We bought 2 sets of dinnerware by Gluckstein . The mugs are a fair size. The handles on them are way to small for the size and weight of the mugs. you actully burn your fingers when using them.

I bought Glucksteins's smoked glass jar cannisters. Imagine my horror when I washed them prior to their first use - and the smoked look - began to wash off. Incredibly poor quality and in the smallest fine print on the bottom of the jar- "not fit for food". Cannisters not fit for food? How can you sell or manufacture such crap and still sleep at night?

The Gluckstein duvet cover that I bought started to pill about 6 months after I bought it. I paid alot of money for it, so I'm really disappointed. The pillowcases also shrunk alot so that they don't cover the ends of the pillows anymore, and the sheets don't offer enough coverage either. I would never buy his stuff again.
